Pixel House Time Pass is a lightweight and easy-to-use GDevelop extension for creating persistent time periods measured in whole calendar months.

Activate temporary content after a purchase, rewarded advertisement, coin redemption, or any other event. The period continues to expire even while the game or app is closed.

Free to download and use. No server connection or special permissions required.

🧩 Included Functions

Actions

• Activate a time period Starts a new persistent period using a unique name and a number of calendar months.
• Clear a time period Immediately deletes a saved period.

Condition

• Time period is active Checks whether the current device date and time are still before the saved expiration date. Invert the condition to check whether the period is inactive or expired.

Expressions

• Activation date and time Returns the saved activation date in the format YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm.
• Expiration date and time Returns the expiration date in the format YYYY-MM-DD - HH:mm.
• Remaining days Returns only the number of days remaining. An expired or missing period returns 0.

🕒 Example

A user activates an ad-free period for three calendar months:

Activated: 2026-08-20 19:38 Valid until: 2026-11-20 - 19:38 Remaining: 92 days

The condition remains true until the exact expiration date and time. Once that moment is reached, the period is automatically considered inactive.

⚙️ How It Works

1. Use the Activate a time period action after a purchase, advertisement, reward, or coin redemption.
2. Enter a unique period name, such as AdFree, Premium, or Booster.
3. Enter the desired number of calendar months.
4. Use the Time period is active condition wherever the temporary feature should be available.
5. Use the included expressions to display the activation date, expiration date, or remaining days.

Note: Activating an existing period name again replaces its previous activation and expiration dates. The new period starts from the current device time.

📦 Installation

1. Download the JSON extension file.
2. Open your project in GDevelop.
3. Open the Project Manager and select Extensions.
4. Choose Import extension.
5. Select the downloaded JSON file.
6. The new actions, condition, and expressions are now available in your events.

⚠️ Important Information

Pixel House Time Pass uses the device’s local date and time. Changing the device clock can therefore affect active periods.

Clearing the application data or uninstalling the application can remove saved periods.

This extension is not a tamper-proof payment, licensing, or subscription system. It does not process purchases, advertisements, coins, or rewards itself. Your own GDevelop events decide when a period should be activated.
